Mara White


Mara White is a contemporary romance author who laces forbidden love stories with hard issues such as race, gender, and inequality. She holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature from Columbia University and is the recipient of the Dr. Antonio G. Mier Prize awarded for excellence in Hispanic Studies. She also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, where she specialized in writing in vernacular under the tutelage of West Indian author, Robert Antoni. White is a Huffington Post contributor and a Daily News columnist who covers romance, erotica and women writers. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
